Easy Jalapeno Poppers Recipe

Ok, so I made this easy jalapeno poppers recipe for my husband and kiddos. Let me say, they were so hot! I think I accidentally left some of the seeds in them. Oops! They were still delicious, but we could barely eat them! Make sure you don’t leave any of those spicy little seeds around when you’re making these jalapeno poppers.

These poppers are super simple to make. The hardest part is getting rid of those pesky seeds! Did I mention this easy jalapeno poppers recipe is low carb? Not only are these jalapeno poppers delicious, but you don’t have to worry about any of those pesky carbs.

Make these jalapeno poppers as an appetizer, or make them for a meal. Either way, they are a yummy way to enjoy jalapenos.

3 Ingredient Jalapeno Poppers:

1) Jalapenos (about 19 smallish ones) You could use fewer of the large ones.
2) 8 oz. cream cheese
3) 1 roll of ground pork sausage – you can also substitute turkey sausage.

Directions:

Heat your oven to 350 degrees.
Brown the sausage in a skillet.
While the meat is browning, rinse the jalapenos and cut them in half length wise.
Remove the seeds, and I mean all of them!
Once the meat is browned add the container of cream cheese and turn down the heat to medium/low.
Let the cream cheese melt and combine it with the sausage.
Next, add the cream cheese and sausage mixture to your jalapeno slices. Place with on a baking sheet about half an inch apart.
Cook for about 20 minutes or until the jalapenos are tender.
